TOUR DESCRIPTION

Two-thirds of the ancient city of Pompeii has been excavated, allowing you to walk through the streets of a real Roman city frozen in time by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. See the baths, theaters, temples, markets, and luxurious villas  and the haunting plaster casts of the victims.

After Pompeii, we take one of the most beautiful drives in the world along the Amalfi Coast. First stop: Positano the vertical town of pastel-coloured houses tumbling down to the sea. Free time for photos, shopping, or lunch with breathtaking sea views (not included).

Then continue to Sorrento famous for limoncello, panoramic terraces, and relaxed Italian charm. Enjoy a stroll, gelato, or a limoncello tasting before we return you to your ship well in time (by 5pm).

                                                             

EXTRA NOTE

Pompeii involves a good amount of walking on uneven cobblestones. Comfortable shoes and a hat are essential. The site is not wheelchair accessible.
